A provider comes to the parked RV, empties black water, gray water, or both, and hauls the wastewater away.
An informal name for a truck or trailer used to collect wastewater. Campgrounds may use the term for scheduled site-to-site pump-outs.
A fixed disposal point where the RV owner empties the tanks. It is not a mobile provider visit.
Pumping a home or commercial septic tank. Some septic companies also service RVs, but that capability should be confirmed directly.
Rinsing or treating the inside of an RV holding tank. Cleaning does not always include wastewater removal, and pump-out does not always include cleaning.
High-pressure water used to clear or clean plumbing lines. Ask whether pumping is also included and whether the method is appropriate for the RV system.
Work on a blocked valve, line, toilet, or damaged component. A pump-out provider may not be equipped to diagnose or repair the RV.
